see show cats up close and get a feel for their personality traits and
what makes each breed so different. From the placid and dignified to
the high-energy active cats - see which is your favorite. You will
meet pedigreed cats with centuries of history and some newer breeds
with wavy coats or curled back ears. Felines come in gorgeous coats
with a variety of textures, colors and patterns to show off their
individual grace and style. The presentations will explore the
evolution of the domestic cat, breed history, the myths and legends,
how to select a cat to suit your lifestyle and other topics. If
you've ever wondered what makes cats seem mysterious or why some
breeds have fascinated people for hundreds of years the Breed Showcase
will add to your enjoyment of the show.
